POMAA is currently working on local chapters in different areas of the country. In order to belong to a local chapter of POMAA you must be a member in good standing with POMAA on a national level.
Local chapters will offer many benefits such as: networking with other medical office managers in your area, educational seminars, and the opportunity to volunteer on the board of a local chapter.
Volunteering on the board for a local chapter has its own benefits and rewards. **Beginning in 2010 anyone that volunteers on a local chapter board will receive a "FREE" POMAA tote bag to use for your chapter meetings.
Any chapter who recruits one new member a month will receive a complimentary 1/2 price membership to use as they wish. Chapters will also be given CPM study guide and specialty study guide vouchers , so please be sure to join your local chapter today!
**In order to be eligible for local chapter board member benefits you must have a viable chapter. A viable chapter is explained in further detail in the members only section of POMAA's website.
